The neurodivergent community - people with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and related conditions - had no single, trustworthy, accessible digital home. Existing resources were fragmented, clinical in tone, or locked behind paywalls. There was no free, bilingual toolkit built specifically around how neurodivergent people actually think and work.
We designed and built The NDBourhood as a fully bilingual (English/Portuguese) resource hub with a suite of custom-engineered tools: ADHD-adapted Focus Timers with flexible session structures, Energy Trackers based on Spoon Theory for managing daily capacity, and self-assessment screening tests for ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. Every design decision prioritised low cognitive load - minimal navigation depth, clear visual hierarchy, and no dark patterns. The SEO architecture was built to rank for high-intent neurodivergent search queries in both languages.
Organic traffic growing month-on-month across EN and PT search markets. Multiple tools ranking on page one for neurodivergent-specific queries. Zero-cost user acquisition through SEO-first architecture. Consistent positive feedback from the neurodivergent community on accessibility and tone.
